Nurturing Stronger Bonds, Building Resilient Families
ASH Program
The ASH Program is a trauma-informed, one-time class designed for caregivers who are facing challenges with their youth’s non-compliance, defiant behavior, or other problematic behaviors at home. It also addresses concerns about their youth’s functioning at school, mental illness, severe anxiety, or involvement with the juvenile justice system. ASH, which stands for Accountability Starts Here, aims to empower caregivers and help them regain control over their family dynamics. The program educates caregivers to become proactive problem solvers rather than reactive, providing insights into Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) that can contribute to chronic disease and mental health issues in adulthood, as well as negative outcomes for youth affected by divorce, addiction, or parental ACE.
ASH Program for Shared Parenting
The “ASH Program for Shared Parenting” is a program aimed at promoting equal and shared parenting arrangements after separation or divorce. The program recognizes the importance of both parents’ involvement in a child’s life and seeks to provide support and resources to help parents navigate the challenges of co-parenting.
By implementing the ASH Program for Shared Parenting, authorities and professionals aim to reduce conflict between parents, minimize the negative impact of separation or divorce on children, and ensure the best interests of the child are prioritized. The program strives to create a supportive environment that enables parents to co-parent successfully and maintain a healthy and stable upbringing for their children.
